Information about Tsubasa Koshide

Information about me

Tsubasa is a Japanese-born (1996), visual and industrial designer. Also, they working as design duo TAK DESIGN with Kyohei Tsuchida. Their design process is to expand strange ideas and small trivial questions to the maximum potential and integrate poetic sensibility and aesthetic of industrial create new interior products💫

Tsubasa graduated with Bachelor's in Industrial Design from Tama art University in Japan and completed her Master’s degree at the écal in Lausanne, Switzerland. During her studies she spent much of time as an assistant to a contemporary artist and also studied at Art Center College of Arts. She previously worked for design office in Tokyo, Now she working as a fleerance designer.

日本の福岡に生まれ、東京を拠点に活動するビジュアル＆インダストリアルデザイナー。また、土田恭平とのデザインデュオ「TAK DESIGN」としても活動している。不思議なアイデアや小さな疑問を可能な限り想像し、詩的な感性と工業製品の美学を融合させ、新しいインテリアプロダクトを生み出すことを得意としている。

多摩美術大学デザインで学部号、スイスのローザンヌにあるECALにて修士号を取得。在学中、現代美術作家のアシスタントとして活動する傍ら、アメリカのアートセンター・カレッジ・オブ・アートでもプロダクトデザインを学ぶ。東京のデザイン事務所に勤務した後、フリーランスデザイナーとして活動。

スイスのローザンヌ州立大学院（ECAL)を修了後、日本を拠点に活動。日々の暮らしや文化を起点とし実用的な道具から装飾的なオブジェまで様々なデザインに携わる。
